Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Taber Man (https://www.taber-man.com), including the web application and optional Chrome extension (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Taber Man helps you save, organize, search, and reopen browser tabs using workspaces, collections, folders, links, tags, and optional window sessions. Features may change as we improve the product. The MVP is currently offered free of charge; paid plans may be introduced later with notice.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
• You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• Notify us promptly at support@taber-man.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to access another user's data without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including bypassing rate limits or security controls
• Upload malware, spam, or content that infringes others' rights
• Reverse engineer or scrape the Service except as permitted by law
• Use automated means to overload our infrastructure

Your content

You retain ownership of the links, notes, workspace names, and other content you save. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, and back up your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for the URLs and content you save. Taber Man does not control third-party websites you open or store.

Browser extension

The optional Chrome extension requires explicit pairing with your account. Extension permissions (such as access to tabs) are used only to save tabs or windows you request, open collection links when you use Open all, and communicate with https://www.taber-man.com.

You may unpair the extension at any time. Extension availability and review status in the Chrome Web Store are separate from these Terms.

Third-party services and links

The Service integrates with third-party providers (for example, Supabase and Vercel) and opens third-party websites you save. We are not responsible for third-party sites, services, or their content.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TABER MAN AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Taber Man and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but sections that by nature should survive (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

Changes

We may modify these Terms or the Service. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
